About the Role
Allied Universal is seeking a flexible and dependable Elite Security Officer Part Time Driver in Austin, TX. This role offers consistent hours at an assigned site with the opportunity to earn more by picking up additional shifts. It's ideal for individuals seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
