About the Role

As a Business & Operations Summer Associate at Capital Group, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting teams that power the firm's business and long-term success. Through meaningful work, coaching, mentorship, and collaboration, you'll strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills while developing a deeper understanding of how a global investment management organization operates. This program provides experience within business areas represented in the full-time Business & Operations Track for the Capital Rotational Program. High-performing Summer Associates may be considered for conversion into the full-time program upon graduation.

Responsibilities

  • Support trade processing, data management, reporting, and operational controls.
  • Partner with investment teams through project management, business analysis, operational support, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, Enterprise Services, Workplace Experience, Communications, and other support teams.
  • Support teams that drive operational excellence, business effectiveness, and enterprise outcomes.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, analyze data and business challenges, develop recommendations, and identify opportunities to improve business processes.
  • Collaborate across functions to support Capital Group's priorities.
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities throughout the program.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
