About the Role
The Seniorenzentrum Lindenhof in Berlin is a modern residential care facility seeking a qualified nurse to join their team. This role involves providing compassionate and professional care to residents.
Responsibilities
- Independent basic and specialized nursing care for residents
- Medication management: preparation, administration, and monitoring as prescribed by physicians
- Care planning and documentation using the SIS model
- Wound care, fall prevention, and decubitus prophylaxis
- Liaising with relatives, general practitioners, and therapists
- Mentoring trainees and nursing assistants
- Participating in quality assurance and MDK audits
- Taking charge of shifts during morning and evening duty
Requirements
- Completed 3-year training as a registered nurse, general nurse, or geriatric nurse (state examination)
- Professional experience in residential care is desirable
- Proficiency in specialized nursing care, medication administration, and care documentation
- Empathy and strong communication skills when interacting with residents and relatives
- Willingness to work in a three-shift system, including weekends
- Sense of responsibility, teamwork, and resilience
- German language skills at least at B2 level
