About the Role
Arrow Electronics is seeking several account managers to join their global team. As a Fortune 133 company, Arrow delivers technology solutions across diverse markets including telecommunications, information systems, transportation, medical, industrial, and consumer electronics, serving over 100,000 customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead for account support team, including training and task alignment.
- Coordinate team members to maintain OTD, timelines, and schedules, removing barriers to success.
- Act as the cross-functional single point of contact for NPI and support service needs.
- Lead complex cross-functional global projects for short/long-term improvements.
- Manage and monitor daily account health, including open orders, forecast, and NPI dates.
- Report on account status and potential issues to management.
- Develop strong customer relationships by providing timely responses to performance inquiries.
- Collaborate with the business team on contract renewals, extensions, and scope changes.
- Develop, implement, and manage customer success strategies to resolve operational/service matters.
- Drive improved profitability by monitoring financial metrics and suggesting improvements.
- Execute lessons learned to fix issues and provide feedback to improve processes.
- Lead strategic account planning to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and milestones.
- Serve as key speaker and organizer for QBRs to drive short and long-term improvement.
Requirements
- Reports directly to Operations with a salary and bonus structure tied to Operational KPIs.
- Must be a key customer interface with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver bad news and provide solutions for improvement.
- Empowered with internal authority and acts as a team leader representing customer accounts.
- Ability to self-manage independently without extra management involvement.
- Proactive approach to account management with an emphasis on automation.
- Exemplify leadership skills by training operational processes for the offshore support team.
- Possess project management experience in customer support.
- Developed organizational and time management skills.
