Conduct HIV pre/post test counseling sessions.
Perform HIV risk assessments.
Provide health education and risk reduction counseling.
Conduct Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral and Treatment (SBIRT) services in the community.

Perform unscheduled interventions or provide assistance during unexpected circumstances.
Maintain good working relationships with staff, clients, and visitors.
Attend staff development training, meetings, and annual in-service as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or designee.

High school diploma/GED with at least one (1) year of experience working in the field of HIV/AIDS.
Knowledge about HIV/AIDS, STDs and the Risk Reduction Model.
Computer literate and experience working with electronic medical records.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule (including evenings and nights).
Ability to interact effectively with all populations served.
Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
