About the Role
Commercial Pipe & Supply, part of the Harrington family of companies, is looking for a Distribution Teammate to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, value safety, and thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload inbound and outbound materials
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy
- Ensure proper placement and organization of products within the warehouse
- Assist will-call customers and support Inside Sales with order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform routine equipment and forklift safety inspections
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
- Report any safety concerns, accidents, or near misses immediately
- Support additional warehouse and operational tasks as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of forklift or similar equipment experience (or ability to become certified)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Commitment to safety and following established procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 90% of the workday)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and climbing
- Ability to operate a forklift and get on/off throughout the shift
Experience Level
- 1+ year of forklift or similar equipment experience
Education Level
- High school diploma or equivalent
