About the Role
St Vincent's is transforming to deliver 50% of care to patients at home, requiring a real-time data hub and governed API gateway. As an Integration Analyst Developer, you will build and maintain interfaces that enable healthcare applications to communicate reliably and safely, supporting the Rhapsody platform and connecting systems to the new data hub.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain HL7 v2.x and FHIR interfaces in the Rhapsody integration engine.
- Support the migration of legacy point-to-point feeds onto reusable, event-driven integration patterns.
- Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues across clinical and administrative systems.
- Apply security and privacy controls to every interface.
- Contribute to interface documentation, standards, and support models.
- Work across multidisciplinary teams and interstate locations.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in .NET/C#, Java, or PHP.
- 1–2 years of experience in the healthcare/health IT industry.
- Exposure to clinical systems and healthcare data.
- Experience working with healthcare integration platforms/middleware, particularly Rhapsody.
- Strong database development and SQL skills.
- Experience developing and supporting integration solutions, APIs, or application services.
- Experience with Azure development technologies, including Azure App Services and cloud-based application development.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate, would be highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of HL7 v2.x and healthcare integration concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
