About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document and report security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity or conditions in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and escalation needs to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
