About the Role
As a Housekeeping Inspector at Reikart House, you will lead and support the housekeeping team, ensuring guest rooms and hotel spaces consistently meet high standards for cleanliness, presentation, safety, and comfort. This role is essential in creating the exceptional guest experience Reikart House is known for.
Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Coordinate daily housekeeping operations by assigning rooms, reviewing VIP arrivals and special requests, and monitoring room status.
- Communicate with the Front Desk and Maintenance teams.
- Coach and support Room Attendants, reinforcing housekeeping procedures and safety standards.
- Monitor supplies and inventory.
- Assist with guest concerns and Lost & Found procedures.
- Step in to support daily housekeeping operations when needed.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of hotel housekeeping standards.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Prior inspection, lead, or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Comfortable providing feedback and coaching team members.
- Maintain a positive, professional approach.
- Ability to perform active duties including frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement.
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
