About the Role
JLL is seeking a Manager to join our Occupancy Planning and Management team, empowering you to shape a brighter way forward in real estate.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team within Occupancy Planning & Management, assigning tasks, maintaining schedules, and ensuring quality standards.
- Focus on daily operations while supporting team members' development and performance.
- Deliver JLL's Occupancy Planning & Management products, solutions, and tools in collaboration with the Account Director.
- Guide the team in supporting real estate clients with space planning, portfolio management, and move coordination.
- Foster productive working relationships within the team and with other work groups.
- Communicate effectively with functional peer groups and support coordination among various JLL teams.
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of project status reports, seat demand tracking, space capacity analysis, and inventory forecasting.
- Ensure the team maintains attention to detail in floorplan reviews, spatial planning, and migration plans.
- Resolve operational problems within the team according to established policies and procedures.
- Escalate complex issues as appropriate and provide day-to-day guidance to direct reports.
- Create clear, accurate planning reports to support Corporate Real Estate decision-making.
- Present information professionally to the team, manager, and client contacts.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a team, assign work, and monitor progress.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain procedures and priorities clearly.
- Experience coaching team members and maintaining schedules.
- Full knowledge of occupancy planning and management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, cell calculations) and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read and work with floorplans.
- Understanding of business policies and procedures within your area.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers and spatial data.
- Ability to maintain budgets and operate within an operating plan.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities and ensuring timely completion of work.
- Comfortable resolving routine operational problems independently.
- Knows when to escalate issues and seek guidance from more senior colleagues.
- Uses established procedures to guide decision-making.
- Professional and responsive with clients and team members.
- Able to build rapport and work collaboratively across teams.
- Comfortable interacting with direct reports and functional peer managers.
- Relevant experience in occupancy planning, space management, facility management, or related field.
- University degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
