About the Role

Clio is seeking a Senior Product Manager for its FinTech Team, focusing on payments. This role is crucial for the company's growth and will involve shaping the trajectory of the payments product. The position can be performed remotely across Canada or the US.

Responsibilities

  • Drive successful outputs and outcomes in the product area in conjunction with Developer and Designer counterparts.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap in conjunction with peers that moves the business forward.
  • Evangelize the strategic roadmap throughout the company.
  • Drive customer and market research.
  • Identify opportunities.
  • Develop unbiased business cases.
  • Determine priorities that help Clio best deliver on its mission and against annual OKRs.
  • Build conviction in chosen initiatives.
  • Be willing to pivot when priorities change or new information comes to light.
  • Be the expert on the user.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers (existing, churned, and prospect).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the markets in which Clio operates.
  • Utilize deep quantitative data to complete the customer picture.
  • Coach and mentor other Product Managers in their craft.
  • Contribute to the continuous up-leveling of the product function as a whole.

Requirements

  • A fintech background (payments, billing, and accounting preferred) with solid financial literacy skills.
  • Experience autonomously developing a strategic roadmap with measurable business impact.
  • Significant successes and failures under your belt, with learnings to bring to Clio.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative team without ego.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Experience using data to inform decisions without succumbing to analysis paralysis.
  • Ability to thrive and deliver while surrounded by chaos and ambiguity.
  • Genuine ability to put yourself in customers’ shoes and operate from a place of empathy.
  • Enthusiasm to learn a new, complex domain and the humility to ask for help when needed.
  • Track record of breaking down objectives into initiatives and delivering to customers at scale.
  • Proven experience participating in building and scaling a payments business.
  • Demonstrable experience self-serving answers, insights, and data from a variety of data analytics tools.
