About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to establish the operational foundation for our marketing team's growth. This hands-on role involves building systems, workflows, processes, data infrastructure, and AI-powered solutions. You will manage the marketing operations infrastructure across marketing automation, CRM, analytics, lifecycle, and campaign processes, while guiding the transition to an AI-native marketing organization. The focus is on making marketing execution more scalable and repeatable by building standards, templates, and AI-enabled processes for efficient campaign execution.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize marketing operations, data, and measurement infrastructure.
- Own the day-to-day administration, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting of marketing automation infrastructure, including HubSpot and its integrations with Salesforce and other marketing technologies.
- Identify gaps in the MarTech stack and contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
- Maintain high standards for marketing data quality, including database health, segmentation, enrichment, deduplication, campaign data, consent and preference management, and data governance.
- Troubleshoot tracking and reporting issues and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve data or systems problems.
- Support bespoke reporting and analysis, utilizing tools like Claude for efficient business question answering.
- Own lifecycle, scoring, and lead management processes.
- Build, maintain, and optimize lifecycle stages, lead scoring models, routing, Sales handoffs, SLAs, recycling, and related processes.
- Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure effective integration of Marketing and Sales systems and processes.
- Ensure infrastructure evolves with changes in the go-to-market strategy.
- Build AI-native marketing operations for scalable campaign execution.
- Develop and maintain standards and automations for efficient and consistent campaign execution across platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Document repeatable marketing processes and translate them into AI-enabled workflows, skills, and agents.
- Partner with marketing teams to identify opportunities for AI and automation.
- Experiment with emerging AI capabilities to improve Marketing's speed, quality, and scale.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B SaaS Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in healthtech or another complex B2B environment.
- Deep hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms; HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Salesforce acumen and understanding of Marketing and Sales systems, data, and process connections.
- Experience with lifecycle management, scoring, routing, campaign tracking, automation, sales hand-offs, and marketing data.
- Hands-on experience with Claude and/or other AI tools to build agents, skills, workflows, and automations.
- Comfort with developer concepts (Git/GitHub, repositories, basic front-end or web-forms work) is strongly preferred.
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills.
- A self-directed builder comfortable troubleshooting complex systems, working through ambiguity, and collaborating across Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
