About the Role
The Masters Swim Coach part-time position will play a crucial role in supporting the overall success and development of our master swimmers who compete at a national level. This position involves collaborating with our team to design and implement effective training programs, providing individualized feedback, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring the safety and well-being of our athletes during practices and competitions. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and skill development of each swimmer, promote a love for the sport, and actively participate in creating a supportive and encouraging team environment. There is the opportunity to coach private lessons and sub additional workouts for masters and junior swim team.
Responsibilities
- Create and coach workouts for intermediate to advanced level adult swimmers
- Teach proper stroke technique
- Motivate swimmers in a fun and energetic manner
- Instill a love for the sport
Requirements
- 1-2 years of coaching experience
- CPR/AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification or Swim Coach Safety Trained
- Intermediate Microsoft Office
