About the Role
As a Maintenance Representative, you will be responsible for the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of aircraft components, powerplants, and communication equipment at various sites. You will ensure aircraft are returned to service and missions continue, oversee other personnel, and maintain the safety and operational readiness of the aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Conduct/oversee the overhaul, maintenance, and repair of airframe components, powerplants, and aircraft communication equipment.
- Ensure aircraft are returned to service and missions continue.
- Oversee other non-ATI individuals/contractors working on ATI aircraft at remote locations.
- Sign for work accomplished and buy-back work of other individuals if required.
- Ensure all work is accomplished in accordance with FAA and Company procedures.
- Be constantly alert for defective, worn, or failed parts and unsafe working conditions.
- Bring attention to the flight crew regarding defective parts or unsafe conditions.
- Ensure the aircraft’s assigned Spares Parts Kit (SPK) is fully stocked.
- Procure maintenance services and support from Company hired agents or act as Company agent if necessary.
- Keep Maintenance Control fully apprised of the aircraft status.
- Provide copies of all completed log pages directly to Maintenance Control.
- Work with minimal supervision and follow directions from Maintenance Control and higher management.
- Conduct housekeeping duties to keep the assigned aircraft clean and presentable.
- Assume duties, responsibilities, and authority of the Maintenance Supervisor where mechanics are utilized.
- Attend all Company training classes as assigned.
- Exercise authority under RII provisions, reporting directly to the Director of Quality Control.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven line maintenance experience on 767/757 aircraft.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen.
- Must successfully complete a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
- Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach in order to maintain files.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Comply with ATI attendance requirements.
- Shall hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license (FAR 121.378a).
- Shall have a valid passport.
- Shall have a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel as the needs of the airline dictates (may require travel up to 3 weeks per month).
