About the Role
MATTR Biowellness Club is seeking a skilled Wellness Technician passionate about health and wellness, with exceptional customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and assist them with our modalities.
- Provide facility tours and client consultations with prospective members.
- Sell memberships and packages appropriate to client needs.
- Manage appointments via the electronic medical record system, including booking, confirming, rescheduling, and canceling.
- Open and close the store according to operational procedures.
- Educate and empower clients on modalities, health benefits, and complementary services.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and treatment areas.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and client support skills.
- Represent the MATTR brand, embodying core values and mission statement.
Requirements
- Must be a team player.
- Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Always represent the organization positively and professionally.
- Minimum of one year of experience in health, wellness, fitness, beauty, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience required.
- Experience or familiarity with sales (memberships, packages) in a clinic, gym, spa, or related setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have evening/weekend flexibility, as the establishment is open 7 days/week.
- Ability to determine appropriate action in complex situations.
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to adapt and handle difficult situations professionally with clients, colleagues, physicians, or others.
