About the Role
KPMG is seeking an Advisory Associate for its Advisory practice. This role involves assessing IT opportunities and risks, evaluating IT performance, and facilitating IT integration for clients. The position is for early career professionals, with a focus on those pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
Responsibilities
- Assess and quantify IT-related opportunities and risks, developing action plans and communicating due diligence results in a non-technical manner for deal advisory integration and separation.
- Evaluate IT-related performance of companies and develop plans for improvement and expense reduction.
- Facilitate the integration of IT operations and organizations resulting from roll-ups or separations.
- Complete offshoring of high labor activities, provide renegotiation support for IT vendor contracts, and identify improvement opportunities for IT governance and project selection.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Participate in the development and presentation of final project deliverables.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field from an accredited college or university by the start date.
- Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Understanding or experience with enterprise software systems, IT architecture and infrastructure, or IT operations.
- Ability to prioritize and organize diverse material.
- Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills.
- Demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes with a professional demeanor and collaborative leadership approach in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (Excel) and AI, and quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism, manage priorities across multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality work.
- Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation.
- Work location may be in-office, at client sites, or virtual/remote; must be located within the U.S. when working remotely.
- Client site locations may require travel and overnight/extended stay.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
