About the Role
KPMG is seeking an Advisory Associate for its Advisory practice. This role involves providing HR consulting services to clients, performing financial due diligence, and developing HR strategies. The position is ideal for early-career professionals pursuing or recently graduated with relevant degrees.
Responsibilities
- Provide HR consulting services to Fortune 1000, middle market and private equity clients for buy and sell-side deal and performance improvement engagements.
- Perform financial due diligence on workforce, HR function, and total reward programs.
- Develop and implement strategy and M&A recommendations within the Human Resources functional space.
- Analyze total rewards benchmarks and adjustments to reward levels and programs.
- Deploy employee experience and change management strategies to support affected workforces.
- Conduct workforce analyses through primary and secondary sources.
- Design and develop models to analyze financial and HR operational performance.
- Communicate findings of analysis and key implications in written and verbal formats.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Math, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, or Human Capital Management from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a current/most recent GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong technical, business acumen, critical thinking, and agility skills.
- Demonstrated ability to excel and drive strategic outcomes.
- Professional demeanor and collaborative leadership approach in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Ability to leverage common business technologies, including MS Office (Excel emphasis) and AI.
- Quickly learn KPMG tools and applications.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to apply professional judgment and skepticism.
- Manage priorities across multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work.
- Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Consideration will be given to applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with relevant ordinances.
