About the Role
This role provides essential support to the Director of Business Development, focusing on sales, marketing, customer support, and proposal management. You will gain hands-on experience in winning robotics deals and understanding the full lifecycle of a commercial robotics transaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the CRM, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Investigate target accounts and compile detailed call lists with relevant information.
- Develop and implement AI and automation workflows to streamline repetitive sales and marketing tasks.
- Draft and send outbound sales sequences and manage inbound leads to ensure timely responses.
- Assist in assembling proposals, quotes, and customer-facing performance reports.
- Extract and present performance data from deployed systems in a clear and concise manner.
- Document customer calls, track action items, and ensure their completion.
- Support logistics for trade shows and events, including registration, shipping, and follow-up.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials such as case studies and one-pagers.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to understand robot performance and relationships.
- Escalate and track customer issues to internal teams for resolution.
- Travel to customer sites to support visits, installations, and demonstrations.
- Conduct site visits that may occur outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's program.
- Based in Austin and able to work on-site.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Highly organized with a proactive approach to follow-up.
- Ability to figure things out with incomplete instructions in a dynamic startup environment.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, including occasional overnight trips and visits outside normal business hours.
