About the Role
Viking Packaging is seeking a motivated individual to fill an open 1st Shift Forklift Operator position in New Paltz, NY. The selected individual will load and unload products throughout the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner as well as provide customer service when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Loading and unloading products throughout the warehouse
- Maintaining warehouse storage and cleanliness
- Complying with safety precautions and best practices
- Providing customer service as necessary
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of previous forklift driving experience
- Experience driving 3 peddle, sit down, propane lifts
- Exceptional productivity and communication skills
- Ability to adhere to policies and standards
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
