About the Role
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company focused on creating checkout-free parking experiences using computer vision. We are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to give people back their most valuable asset: time.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers.
- Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
- Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Courteously assist customers by answering questions and directing them to the Facility Manager if necessary.
- Report any accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, or oil spills to the garage office.
- Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary and authorized.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area.
- Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable.
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license to be carried at all times while on duty.
- Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with two-digit numbers and perform operations using American currency.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- May be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
