About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while responding to incidents and supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements; report unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related occurrences.
Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
