About the Role
Pet Paradise is seeking individuals passionate about pets to organize and manage daytime play groups at our Dripping Springs resort location.
Responsibilities
- Interact with and monitor dogs in play areas, ensuring safe play with appropriate toys and tools.
- Maintain constant visual observation of dogs, distributing attention and play among all dogs in the group.
- Minimize stress levels and manage aggressive or unusual behaviors within the playgroup.
- Control play levels by following procedures, management instructions, and proper dog handling techniques.
- Assist the team with cleaning and play-yard maintenance duties.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for working with animals.
- Ability to work in all-weather conditions, including heat and humidity, and exposure to pool water.
- Comfortable and physically capable of handling dogs of all sizes, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping.
- Flexibility to work varied resort schedule needs, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
