About the Role
Perform a variety of custodial duties in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures for C&W Services.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces.
- Operate light and heavy floor machines, including buffers and shampoo machines.
- Vacuum rugs and spot clean.
- Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Wash windowsills, interior glass, and specified windows.
- Wash and spot clean interior walls.
- Clean bathrooms and restock supplies.
- Monitor for and report defects such as clogged urinals and lights out.
- Collect and dispose of building trash.
- Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers.
- Shovel snow from steps and walkways.
- Perform periodic tasks including high dusting, polishing, and wall washing.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to function cooperatively as part of a team.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Ability to use a backpack-style vacuum cleaner.
- Requires attention to detail, pride in service, organization, and high energy levels.
