About the Role
Physician Assistant – DHK Ambulatory Surgery – Full time / Rotating- Cornell Campus. Practice the art and science of evidence-based medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Here, you'll experience a wide variety of cases, ranging from adult inpatients requiring pre- and post-operative care to general acute care and specialty services. Responsibilities
- Responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space.
- Opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room.
- Coverage for multi surgical specialties including: General surgery, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Breast surgery, Podiatry, GYN, Orthopedics, Plastic surgery, Spine surgery, Robotic surgery, Interventional Radiology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- Current NYS PA licensure
- NCCPA certification
- DEA Certification
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certification
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
