About the Role
Nurses at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital deliver around-the-clock care for over 1,900 children annually, using advanced support technology. The Pediatric ICU is a 14-bed unit specializing in trauma, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, respiratory failure, renal failure, CRRT, mechanical ventilation, trach to vent, pulmonary hypertension, hematology/oncology, and sepsis, caring for acute and chronically ill children ranging in age from 0-21. This is a full-time, night shift position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver around-the-clock care for pediatric patients in the ICU.
- Utilize advanced support technology in pediatric settings.
- Care for acute and chronically ill children ranging in age from 0-21.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS and PALS certification
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
