About the Role
Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) is offering a paid training opportunity for individuals interested in becoming a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA). This program provides a pathway to start a nursing career, potentially leading to an RN position. Participants will earn wages and benefits as full-time employees while attending school and training.
Responsibilities
- Perform under the supervision of Licensed Nurses in direct patient services.
- Assist in unit functions.
- Complete assigned duties.
- Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must demonstrate ability to follow instructions and a willingness to learn.
- Successful candidates will commit to a full-time position at CVMC following receipt of licensure.

- High school diploma or G.E.D. is required for positions within hospital units.
