About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and dependable Silverware Packer to join our growing New York team!
Responsibilities
- Polish, assemble, and pack cutlery, napkins, linens, and related items according to airline specifications.
- Inspect all items for cleanliness, quality, and accuracy before packing.
- Ensure the correct quantities and types of utensils are prepared for each assigned flight.
- Assist with inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
- Keep products separated, organized, and properly rotated.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company procedures related to packaging, cleaning, and product handling.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations outlined in the Food Safety Management System handbook.
- Report food safety concerns or system issues to management and the Hygiene and Food Safety team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- One year of packing, logistics, or related experience in a similar work environment preferred.
- Proactive, dependable, and well-organized.
- Comfortable managing a substantial workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of completing assigned tasks accurately while meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable standing, walking, reaching, and performing repetitive hand movements for extended periods.
- Capable of safely lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
