About the Role
AutoZone's store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll put your safe driving skills to work and enjoy career stability with endless growth opportunities. Responsibilities
- Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
- Work closely with store personnel and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth team collaboration and strong customer relationships.
- Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
- Drive company-provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
- Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
- Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
- Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
- Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and adhere to AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
- Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
- Full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
