About the Role
Entry-level Porter/Shop Helper position available at a large truck dealership, assisting technicians and performing basic maintenance and road tests.
Responsibilities
- General cleaning inside and outside of the facility
- Outside maintenance
- Assisting technicians
- Performing scheduled maintenance including changing oil and filters, checking lights, tires, and greasing
- Replacing or repairing light components
- Performing operations checks
- Performing road tests on vehicles after repair
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license and pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Frequent standing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and walking
- Use of fine manipulation skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and additional shifts as assigned
- Must be available and willing to adapt
- Must have minimum tools to perform maintenance and repair work
- Maintain a high level of professionalism
