About the Role
Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking an experienced Acupuncturist to join our Bellmore office. This role involves providing acupuncture treatments, including needle, e-stim, and cupping, as well as conducting initial evaluations and daily notes. You will collaborate with a team of physical and occupational therapists.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the evaluation and treatment of patients needing Acupuncturist services.
- Diagnoses and treats musculoskeletal conditions of spinal column and extremities to prevent disease and correct abnormalities of the body.
- Examines patients to determine nature and extent of disorder.
- Performs diagnostic procedures including physical, neurological and orthopedic examinations.
- Treatment of general medicine and internal medicine conditions including but not limited to gyno, gastro, pulmonary and cardiac.
- Enhance and expand patient relations when possible.
- Perform any other duties as needed and/or requested by Metro’s Management team.

- Minimum 2 years performing acupuncture required
