About the Role
The Assistant Gym Manager will support the Gym Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the club, contributing to a positive work and workout environment for the team and members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an excellent member experience through a constant focus on service and standards.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates.
- Interview, hire, and develop new team members to ensure a great onboarding experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all gym areas.
- Ensure the safety of members, guests, and team at all times.
Requirements
- Proven leadership ability in a fitness, leisure, hospitality, or retail setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to successfully obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
