About the Role
The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. This role offers diverse clinical exposure across inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient consultation, outpatient care, and electrodiagnostic medicine, with opportunities for medical education, research, and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Practice at a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Unit.
- Provide care on a 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation service.
- Participate in the inpatient rehabilitation consultation service.
- Provide outpatient rehabilitation and EMG/NCS services at North Central Bronx and Jacobi.
- Engage in academic teaching, including medical student and resident education and training.
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

- Board Certification or Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Active or eligible for a New York State medical license
