The Farm Telecommunications CCTV Tech 1 installs and supports information systems for dairy farms nationwide. This is a career track technical position with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, wireless networks, low-voltage systems, and cabling infrastructure.
Working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Working in close proximity to cows on farms.
Using ladders and aerial lifts up to 100 feet.
Driving a vehicle and some air travel.
Using a computer and telephone for several hours a day.
Sitting, standing, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 80 pounds.

Requirements

Associate degree in Animal Science, General Agriculture, Information Systems, or a related field; additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
At least one year of relevant experience, such as repairing Windows-based computers, deploying point-to-point or point-to-multipoint wireless networks, providing managed IT services, or supporting technical infrastructure.
Familiarity with computer hardware, wireless networks, and agricultural technology systems.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
