About the Role
Momentum Solar is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician to join their Service Department. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy with knowledge of basic wiring and schematics for diagnosing and maintaining solar systems. This role requires a dependable individual with strong business ethics, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Installs and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
- Assists in work needed on roofs.
- Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- Repairs and maintains motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Solar experience required.
- Must be able to assess and fix issues for Enphase systems.
- Must be able to troubleshoot String Systems, SolarEdge, SunPower, and Tesla systems.
- Need to be able to lift panels and set up ladders alone.
- Need to be familiar with enlighten app.
- Able to use IOS and Android operating systems to submit documents and trouble shoot solar systems.
- Some Electric Experience Required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to work on roofs and in attics.
- Valid Driver's License and Clean driving record Required.
- Able to work alone or with a small team to complete tasks.
- Willing to work weekends.
