About the Role

Help shape how Whole Foods Market merchants plan, forecast, and make decisions using AI-powered tools. You will own the product strategy for intelligent automation, next-generation forecasting models, and the data foundations that connect them, working at the intersection of AI/ML, merchant experience, and supply chain data.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered merchant intelligence tools, including adoption strategy, capability governance, and merchant enablement.
  • Lead cross-functional execution of forecasting model migration: defining success criteria, orchestrating data readiness, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving go/no-go decisions.
  • Drive data integration and catalog harmonization initiatives across multiple systems and organizations, resolving complex upstream and downstream dependencies.
  • Define product requirements for new analytical capabilities, including store clustering, category intelligence, and assortment optimization, from problem framing through OP1 commitment.
  • Earn merchant trust through direct engagement: translating technical capabilities into business value, validating solutions in the field, and building feedback loops that inform the roadmap.
  • Navigate a complex stakeholder landscape spanning product, engineering, supply chain, UX, and merchandising organizations across both Amazon and Whole Foods Market.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience as a product manager or owner.
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights.
