About the Role
As an associate in our Technology Transactions group, you will work on high-impact IP and tech-focused deals, using cutting-edge AI agents to streamline drafting, diligence, and execution processes. You will collaborate closely with partners, clients, and technology teams to transform how legal services are provided to leading institutions.
Responsibilities
- Leverage AI agents to generate, compare, and revise technology and IP transaction documents.
- Use AI tools to conduct rapid document reviews, identify key terms, and generate client-facing diligence memos focused on IP and tech diligence.
- Integrate AI agents into workflow management, signing and closing checklists, and coordination with counterparties.
- Partner with clients to demonstrate how AI-assisted workflows improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity.
- Work closely with the technology teams to make the deal process more efficient using AI.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD), or equivalent; admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 4+ years of law firm experience in Technology Transactions and/or IP Transactions as primary practice.
- Substantive hands-on record drafting and negotiating technology and IP agreements, with depth from high-volume work.
- Experience supporting the IP and Tech workstreams of M&A and private equity transactions.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to move matters forward.
- No prior AI experience required.
