About the Role

Amazon is seeking a customer-obsessed, data-oriented, and technologically hands-on Product Manager – Technical to join the Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) team. This role focuses on building and enhancing internal products and tools that drive insights and analysis across Amazon, enabling global teams to improve end-to-end customer experiences. The immediate objective is to own the vision, design, and implementation for the next feature release, focusing on evaluating Personalized shopping and streaming experiences worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Own the experience and product design for new feature launch and rollout in our product suite.
  • Deeply understand user needs and translate them into structured product and technical requirements.
  • Regularly drive conversations with users and analyze feedback to identify and prioritize high-impact improvements.
  • Influence the vision and product roadmap, write effective PRFAQs and technical requirements.
  • Stay at the forefront of technology advancements and push the tech frontier.
  • Understand complex business problems across business units, geographies, and product lines.
  • Manage ambiguity and translate it into tech requirements.
  • Effectively partner with users to solve their problems.
  • Build strong relations with internal stakeholders to understand priorities and collaborate on roadmap inputs.
  • Collaborate with peers/colleagues globally to support best practices and shared opportunities.
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members and contribute to a high-performing culture.

Requirements

  • Experience working with engineering and technical teams to build automated solutions.
  • 3+ years of professional experience.

Skills

  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
  • Experience debugging, profiling, and implementing best software engineering practices in large-scale systems.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with back-end technologies such as Python, Java, and SQL.
  • Proficient with cloud services, web technologies, virtualization, developer tools, and user interface design.
  • Experience in launching and driving adoption of successful software products and features.
  • Experience influencing roadmap strategy and definition.
