About the Role
2020 Companies is hiring part-time Intel Assisted Sales Promoters to connect with retail shoppers, recommend Intel products, and ensure a positive shopping experience. All technology training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships and rapport with Best Buy customers and personnel.
- Provide training to store associates on various Intel products and technologies.
- Identify customers’ needs and recommend appropriate Intel computer products and services.
- Proactively engage customers throughout the sales process, from greeting and discovering their needs to closing the sale; utilizing Best Buy POS to transact non-cash sales.
- Track and increase Intel Retail Edge sign-up and engagement.
- Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback and observations, and submitting customer and store photos.
- Maintain business communication with the Regional Manager via occasional phone calls, Teams meetings, and/or emails.
- Work primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
- Work additional shifts as required, such as during Holiday Selling Days.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred.
- An interest in PC and Gaming products is a plus.
- Ability to engage, demonstrate, and ask for the sale.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer and retail partner expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be available to work weekends, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Must own a smartphone.
- Ability to stand, walk around, reach, pick up, bend, grab, up to 20lbs occasionally, with continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation.
- Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits at assigned stores within your area.
