Dentsu is seeking an SEO Director in London to understand client business objectives and translate them into best-in-class SEO strategies. The role involves leading a team to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring collaboration with specialist teams, and achieving financial targets while growing revenue.
Responsibilities
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into best-in-class SEO strategy.
- Lead a team to deliver innovative and ambitious solutions that meet client objectives and forecasts.
- Ensure the team collaborates with specialist teams (Content Strategy, Tech, Editorial, PR) to produce exceptional strategies.
- Deliver financial targets, grow revenue, and track progress.
- Act as an ambassador for Dentsu, building brand reputation in the industry.
- Develop and evangelize overall strategy and approach to the SEO channel.
- Ensure best practice and innovation in all SEO activities.
- Manage and maintain client relationships and serve as the main point of escalation for client issues.
- Develop overall strategy and goals for the team, typically working on multiple, large, or complex clients.
- Manage and develop direct reports, being accountable for complete team development.
- Conduct forecasting for annual and monthly budgets and be responsible for growing account profitability.
- Contribute to new business development when required.
Requirements
- Experience managing large, complex search accounts across different vertical markets (e.g., Finance, automotive, technology, travel) within an agency.
- Experience working with best-in-class search technology platforms and articulating the tech value proposition to senior clients and procurement teams.
