Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial center operations to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain an ethical sales culture and inclusive environment within the financial center and market.
  • Recruit, retain, and train team members, and develop the Assistant Financial Center Manager.
  • Create an inclusive financial center culture that provides an environment for team members to thrive.
  • Support and coordinate CRA and Community Engagement activities.
  • Oversee branch small business activity to drive new business acquisition and deepen existing relationships.
  • Identify client needs and refer them to the appropriate line of business.
  • Maintain a properly trained team, providing guidance, support, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate operational issues, including automation, equipment needs, workflow, and transaction integrity.
  • Maximize branch growth and profitability through ethical sales, deepening client relationships, and partner support.
  • Assist commercial, private wealth, and treasury officers with client and prospecting calls.
  • Perform all duties necessary for operating an efficient financial center, including teller transactions and banker functions.
  • Act as a liaison with internal business partners to facilitate client onboarding.
  • Lead community awareness events to increase bank outreach and foster new business opportunities.
  • Foster an environment that assures exceptional customer service.
  • Interview and hire qualified candidates for financial center staff vacancies.
  • Maintain proper security within the financial center to protect employees and bank assets.
  • Ensure responsible management of the financial center budget.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years banking experience with three years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent knowledge of bank and branch operations, customer service, and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Strong financial acumen, including Business Banking and Credit Solutions.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills, including effective time management.
  • Ability to be influential and establish positive working relationships across the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and achieve strategic goals.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written), negotiating, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to readily identify needs and requirements, and establish plans and processes to ensure successful results.
  • Strong knowledge of legal entity documentation.
  • Take initiative to participate in continued education and management development.
  • Proficiency in the use of PC software tools for reports, audits, analysis, and presentations.
  • Saturday Banking Support required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
