About the Role
Buffalo Solar is seeking an Installation Supervisor with commercial electrical or construction experience to lead the day-to-day field execution of commercial solar projects. This hands-on role offers steady work, overtime, benefits, and opportunities for career growth in field leadership.
Responsibilities
- Help lead daily installation activities and subcontractor crews.
- Review project plans and electrical drawings and ensure correct installation.
- Monitor installation quality, productivity, safety, and schedule.
- Identify and help resolve field issues.
- Ensure upcoming projects are prepared before crews arrive onsite.
- Receive, stage, secure, and track project materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain organized and safe jobsites.
- Help keep company vehicles, trailers, tools, and field equipment ready for work.
- Support punch-list completion and project closeout.
Requirements
- 2+ years of commercial electrical, construction, or similar field experience.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and construction plans.
- Working knowledge of electrical construction and the NEC.
- Strong field problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with crews, subcontractors, customers, and project teams.
- Comfortable working on commercial rooftops and active construction sites.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
