About the Role
The Credit Analyst is the primary point of contact for clients seeking GPU-backed financing, guiding them from initial contact through loan funding. This role involves building relationships, managing diligence processes, and supporting credit analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support borrower relationships and serve as a primary point of contact from first touch through funding.
- Manage deal diligence by requesting and organizing documents, chasing missing information, and maintaining timelines.
- Conduct deep credit analysis, model financials, assemble diligence materials, and populate underwriting scorecards.
- Coordinate with internal teams (credit, legal, compliance, finance) and external parties to facilitate deal closure.
- Prepare investment proposal memos, teasers, term sheet summaries, and internal deal updates.
- Maintain organized and audit-ready deal records, pipeline, and documentation.
- Produce regular pipeline and conversion metrics reports for leadership.
- Refine and strengthen the origination and diligence workflow.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in originations, credit, lending, deal or transaction support, investment banking, or a similar client-facing finance role.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills to manage multiple deals and diligence processes concurrently.
- Proficiency in working with financial documents and data, including understanding data room contents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and trustworthy demeanor.
- High agency and comfort operating in ambiguous environments, taking ownership and problem-solving.
- Must be based in NYC.
