About the Role
Accelsius is seeking an R&D Technician to support the design, development, and testing of new cooling products and technologies. This role is ideal for a curious self-starter with a strong aptitude for electro-mechanical and fluid system problem-solving, looking to join a disruptive company at the ground floor.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain lab test setups.
- Perform wiring of instrumentation, heaters, power supplies, sensors, etc.
- Handle plumbing, filling/discharging, and troubleshooting of custom refrigeration systems.
- Support hardware prototyping, validation testing, and engineering experiments.
- Assist engineers with experimental setup, data collection, documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Support fabrication, welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical integration activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve lab processes, test methodologies, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using common lab tools, hand tools, and test equipment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a lab environment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working around mechanical, electrical, and fluid-based systems while following lab safety procedures.
