About the Role

VIP Automotive Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician / Automotive Technician to support customers throughout the Long Island territory. This role is ideal for an experienced Level C Automotive Technician looking for career advancement in a professional, well-supported environment with a large customer base and growth opportunities. The candidate should be dependable, customer-focused, organized, and comfortable performing light automotive repairs, recall work, software updates, and programming in a mobile setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Mobile Service vehicle in a clean, safe, organized, and road-ready condition
• Properly stock and organize the Mobile Service vehicle with necessary parts, tools, equipment, and supplies
• Communicate consistently with the Mobile Service Manager throughout the workday
• Review and coordinate the daily service schedule with the Mobile Service Manager
• Perform light factory recall repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Perform factory software flash updates and related programming procedures
• Complete assigned repairs accurately, efficiently, and according to company and manufacturer standards
• Provide professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service during every customer interaction
• Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing VIP Automotive Group at customer locations
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed service work

Requirements

• Automotive service or repair experience preferred
• Level C Technician experience preferred
• Basic understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
• Ability to perform light repairs and manufacturer recall work
• Comfortable using automotive diagnostic and programming equipment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment
• Must have a clean, valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Professional appearance and attitude
