About the Role
Oversee daily store operations, including personnel management and inventory control, to ensure a positive customer and associate experience. Sundays off are provided.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals.
- Optimize and oversee the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance.
- Convey a commitment to outstanding customer service and ensure all associates do the same.
- Ensure quality standards are met, review remakes, and enforce policies.
- Communicate with management and provide store reporting.
- Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place.
- Supervise and motivate Opticians, CL Sales associates, and Receptionists.
- Assist with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, selecting, and retaining staff.
- Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
Requirements
- Optical sales experience.
- Supervising experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build associate relationships.
- Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
