About the Role
The System Administrator will manage technology infrastructures for multiple clients across various industries, supporting and maintaining servers, desktops, firewalls, network equipment, software applications, and backup systems. We seek a technologically savvy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual capable of providing outstanding client service.
Responsibilities
- Deploy complex solutions involving Exchange, VMWare, and Windows Server.
- Coordinate internal and external resources and vendors.
- Build new network and server environments.
- Manage, maintain, and upgrade existing servers, networks, and desktops.
- Maintain healthy working relationships with multiple customers, manage expectations, and communicate status updates.
- Understand customer business processes and goals, and recommend technology solutions.
- Solve complex technical problems, including software deployments, server/desktop hardware issues, and software problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of IT management experience.
- Minimum 1 year as a network/system administrator, IT manager, or IT consultant.
- Prior experience handling multiple customers in an IT consultancy or MSP is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of common business operating systems and applications, including Windows, Windows Server, and Office.
- Solid understanding of network technology and related concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SMTP, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interface professionally with customer executives and employees.
- Ability to see problems through to resolution and communicate progress and results to customers.
