About the Role

BCG X is seeking Forward Deployed AI Engineers to join their rapidly growing engineering team. You will partner with clients across various BCG regions and industries on key topics like climate change, enabling them to design, build, and deploy new AI solutions. This role offers an accelerated path for personal and professional growth, requiring a passion for software development and large-scale data analytics.

Responsibilities

Own the full analytics value-chain end to end: framing new business challenges, designing innovative algorithms, implementing, and deploying scalable solutions.
Enable colleagues and clients to fully embrace AI.
Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and papers.
Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X.
Apply software development practices and standards to develop robust and maintainable software.
Actively participate in all parts of the software development life cycle.
Guide non-technical teams and consultants in best practices for robust software development.
Optimize and enhance computational efficiency of algorithms and software design.
Interact directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
Collaborate in teams to share software design and solution ideas.

Requirements

Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of your home office.
Expected to be in the office as directed.
Requires extended working hours at times.
Work often requires travel to client sites.
Any degree programs (including part-time) must be completed before starting at BCG.

Salary/Compensations

Forward Deployed AI Engineer I: $110,000 USD
Forward Deployed AI Engineer II: $145,000 USD
Forward Deployed AI Engineer III: $160,000 USD
Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer: $190,000 USD
