About the Role
The Office of the CMO is seeking an intern to develop an AI-powered solution, the OCMO Insight Engine, which transforms marketing performance data into actionable insights for senior leadership. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of AI, business operations, data storytelling, and executive communications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Office of the CMO to understand marketing business review preparation and usage.
- Design and build Rovo-based agents to ingest goal scores and owner commentary.
- Detect significant changes in key results and month-over-month progress.
- Draft concise executive summary bullets explaining drivers of detected changes.
- Flag low-scoring key results and generate follow-up questions for leadership.
- Rebuild a month-over-month trend view using multiple reporting surfaces.
- Produce a one-screen CMO pre-read distilling objectives and key results into decision points.
- Establish a human-in-the-loop review process for AI-generated outputs.
- Test outputs for accuracy, clarity, executive tone, and usefulness.
- Document the solution and create a reusable workflow for the OCMO team.
- Measure the impact of the solution, including time saved, adoption, and decision quality.
- Explore related automation opportunities such as reminders, award nominations, template refreshing, and auditing resources.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in computer science, data science, information systems, business, marketing, communications, or a related field, returning to the program after the internship (graduating by June 2028).
- Interest in artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, or business operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort learning new tools and understanding business needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship (40 hours/week).
- Less than one year of professional experience (excluding internships and co-ops).
