About the Role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate logs when assigned.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, or suspicious activity to site leadership in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
