About the Role

JLL's JREDD Asset Service team has an exciting role for a Facility Condition Advisor. This role is part of the Asset Services assessment team, which provides clients with robust physical condition and operational assessments for long-term asset planning, value maximization, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

Perform facility evaluations by applying architectural and/or engineering standards, practices, and techniques.
Visually evaluate architectural/MEP building systems, gather data, and note deficient conditions in conformance with ASTM E2018-24 standard.
Conduct visual assessments of buildings, systems and assets to determine current condition, remaining useful life, and cost to replace, repair, or renew.
Create a baseline for capital planning.
Document physical deficiencies consistent with the standard’s definitions of immediate, short-term, and long-term costs.
Conduct FCAs in conformance with the ASTM E2018-24 baseline process, including document review and interviews, walk-through survey, preparation of opinions of costs to remedy physical deficiencies, and preparation of the facility condition report.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management (or related field); non-degreed Assessors must have 10+ years of relevant work experience.
10+ years of related experience performing assessments in conformance with ASTM E2018-24.
Proficiency in the application of engineering and architectural design standards, practices, and techniques.
Working knowledge of commercial construction codes and their application to existing facilities.
Project definition, planning and management experience required.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to walk for long periods (6 to 8 hours/day); and climb ladders, kneel, crouch, or crawl to access difficult spaces or carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
Travel is expected with this role to generally not exceed 75%, but some projects will require 100% travel.
A valid REAL ID driver's license with no significant MVA points or violations is required.
